About Penelope Rose Creations

Hi! I'm Lauren. Penelope Rose Creations was born when I decided I wanted to make a quilt from my daughter's first babygrows a few years ago.

I decided to start with a patchwork cushion and made some for myself and her grandmas prior to starting the larger quilt project. Around the same time I also discovered the amazing animal patterns created by www.funkyfriendsfactory.com so I also made some keepsake animals with the fabric left over. 

Since then, I've made many cushions, quilts and keepsake animals (mainly bears, but I also make cats, dachsunds, unicorns, lions, elephants, giraffes and triceratops - and if there are any other animals you like I can probably get the pattern for an extra charge). These are from clothes which are usually either babygrows to remember those first outfits, graduation uniform, school uniform or clothes from family members who are no longer with us as a way to remember them. 

I do also do other crafts and have made knitted decorations including personalised ones to look like pets before, and I also personalise other items with my cricut. I can also use this to personalise keepsakes.
